Welcome to Paragon Mills Elementary School where we will exert every effort to provide a quality education and a happy school environment for your child. Nelson Mandela said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” We, thus use this tool in educating not just the brain but also the heart.
At PMES, we provide academic experiences for our students that are rigorous, relevant, and help them build relationships while making real-world connections. As the school principal, it is important to me that everyone who steps through our doors-teachers, students and parents-are excited to be here! This attitude enables us to meet the challenges of academic excellence in a positive, fun, and nurturing environment.
I truly believe every child can learn and should have a remarkable educational experience. I believe that reading is the foundation of a solid education, so I encourage my students to read every day. It encourages language development, reading fluency and more proficient English skills.
I also believe that every child is a leader and should take the lead in their educational experience and future. If you believe it, you can achieve it with hard work and dedication.
I want to personally invite and encourage you to become actively involved in our school. I look forward to working with you as a team to help each student at PMES meet their educational goals and have a successful school year!
